Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology
The research of the Department of Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology at the FBZ focuses on the mental health and disorders of infants, children and adolescents in their living environment (family, day-care centre, school). Our research strategy is characterised by an interdisciplinary, dynamic "developmental psychopathological" perspective. We are interested in temporal aspects and trajectories of mental health and disorders in the developmental process. We develop and evaluate age-appropriate interventions for the prevention and treatment of mental disorders. We have a long tradition of participatory research with children and are committed to children's rights in research and treatment.
