Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy of Older Adults
Populations 65 and older are growing rapidly as baby boomers age. Aging brings with it specific developmental challenges (e.g., end of employment, physical changes) that may impact mental health and may require modification of clinical psychotherapeutic approaches and care for this age group. In order to focus research and clinical practice on older adults, a new Chair of Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy of Older Adults will be integrated into the Faculty of Psychology at RUB. This will complete the research spectrum of clinical psychology and psychotherapy across the entire lifespan at the FBZ.
